“Hannah has been an excellent tutor for my daughter, Sophia, for GCSE maths. We started with tutoring as Sophia was struggling with her year 10 maths and wants to ensure she gets a good grade in her GCSEs. I've been very impressed with the professionalism and tailored approach. I had an initial call to discuss what we want from the tutoring then Sophia had an assessment after which she began the tutoring sessions. Sophia gelled straight away with Hannah and actually really enjoys the sessions which is a first for her with maths! She has been set a structured plan and began achieving her goals after a short period of time. Hannah provides updates with goals, achievements, areas for improvement and learning strategies and then an action plan for the following month. Most importantly after a year of tutoring, Sophia still enjoys and looks forward to the lessons. Hannah is friendly and approachable and as she is currently studying at university she is able to be empathic and understanding about the challenges of exams. Sophia has gone from a grade 2 in her school assessments when we began and is now predicted a 5/6 in her GCSEs.”
“Hannah is a great tutor and role model. My 16 year old was finding Maths and Sciences hard going and lost confidence. Hannah helped to pinpoint areas of weakness, and built a tailored plan to get back on track. Sessions are enjoyable and Hannah makes an effort to create a good rapport, takes time to listen even when they have had a bad day, Hannah listens and engages on a relatable level. I would highly recommend.”
“My child has found the tutoring very helpful and finds it useful to have Hannah on hand to ask questions and raise topics they need help with. Their maths grade has recently improved again from a 5 to a 6 in the latest mock exams! They've built a really nice relationship with Hannah and genuinely enjoy the sessions. Having a young tutor they can relate to has made all the difference. Thank you!”
“My child’s confidence has improved so much because of the sessions. They’ve gained a lot after working with Hannah, and their grades have gone up. Now they’re approaching GCSEs with way more confidence. Thank you!”
“Hannah has really connected with Sophia and had a significant positive impact on both her confidence and grades. Sophia would actively avoid science and maths but now enjoys studying them with Hannah. We really appreciate the flexibility and dedication from Hannah and really can’t recommend her high enough. Sophia herself finds Hannah fun and recognises how she has tailored learning to Sophia’s style and needs. Thank you Hannah 🌟”

A: All tutors at Hannah’s Tutoring are carefully selected and study at Russell Group or Oxbridge universities, having achieved 40+ points in the IB. Every tutor is fully vetted, DBS checked, and chosen not only for academic excellence but also for their ability to support and motivate girls.
A: We begin with an introductory call to understand your daughter’s strengths, challenges, and academic goals. Based on this, we carefully match her with a suitable tutor and tailor sessions to her learning style, subject requirements, and IB course demands. Lessons are adapted continuously as she progresses to ensure support remains effective and focused.
A: We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged in full, as the session has been reserved specifically for your daughter. Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
A: The IB is a demanding programme, with a large volume of content alongside internal assessments, coursework, and exam preparation. For this reason, we typically recommend around two hours of tutoring per week to give your daughter enough time to build understanding, practise exam technique, and stay on top of deadlines. Support is always tailored, and we will make a personalised recommendation based on her subjects, year group, and confidence levels, adjusting sessions as her needs evolve.
A: Yes. We provide structured support across all major IB coursework, including Internal Assessments, the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge. Tutors help your daughter understand assessment criteria, develop and refine ideas, plan and structure her work, and manage deadlines. All guidance is delivered in line with IB academic integrity requirements, ensuring her work remains entirely her own.
